The copylike.me guide

About copylike.me and our test

copylike.me helps adults explore their outlook and start conversations with people who share similar preferences. It begins with short questions about everyday choices.

From understanding yourself to a conversation

First, take the test and see your result. Then decide whether to save a profile and use matching. You can view the result before registering, and private contact begins only after both people agree.

Similarity is intended to suggest a conversation topic. It does not replace getting to know someone or promise a successful relationship.

Where do the questions and descriptions come from?

The questionnaire and result descriptions were developed for copylike.me. The basic set contains 10 questions, one for each selected preference area. Every question has 10 descriptive answers with assigned numeric values.

This is not an official MBTI test or a Big Five questionnaire. We do not present it as a standardised psychological assessment. The short profile supports self-reflection and comparison of answers, not diagnosis.

Our descriptions distinguish your position on a preference scale from the similarity between two people's answers. The methodology guide includes the formula and a worked example so that you can understand what the percentage means.

You decide whether to connect

A match does not automatically start a conversation. Both people must accept the contact. The app also provides blocking, reporting, data export and account deletion.

Our privacy policy explains how data is handled, and our terms explain the rules for using the service. Both documents are linked in the footer of every page.

How can you give feedback on the test?

If a question is unclear, a description seems inconsistent with your answer or you notice a translation error, contact us. Include the language, the question and a description of the problem. You do not need to send private conversations or a sign-in link.

This page describes the current basic questionnaire and how results are presented. When the method changes, its explanation should be updated alongside the app.
